Experience

Mike solves problems and loves doing it.

Michael began his legal career at a large New York City law firm. In 1999, Mike moved to Rochester, New York but continues to serve various "downstate" clients at "upstate" rates.

Mike has gained client and peer recognition and often acts as special or trial counsel, collaborating with other lawyers who face discrete litigated issues related to their clients' cases.

Mike's practice areas include shareholder and partnership disputes, trust and estates litigation, employment law, breach of contact litigation, wage and hour litigation, election law and fiduciary matters, such as entity dissolution proceedings, power of attorney abuse, and alleged breach of fiduciary duty. Mike has had the unique opportunity and privilege to represent companies and individuals, employers and employees, and controlling minority shareholders or owners. Mike also litigates complex civil rights and constitutional matters.

No matter the case, Mike's clients have come to comfortably rely upon his innate ability to readily adapt to developments in real time.

In addition to his law practice, Mike lectures before the bar and publishes essays addressing legal issues he encounters.
