Michael began his legal career at a large New York City law firm. In 1999, Mike moved to Rochester, New York but continues to serve various "downstate" clients at "upstate" rates.

Mike has gained client and peer recognition as a Business Litigation "Super Lawyer" and often acts as special or trial counsel, collaborating with other lawyers who face discrete litigated issues related to their clients cases. Mike solves problems and loves doing it.

Mike's practice areas include shareholder and partnership disputes, Trust and Estates litigation, employment law, breach of contact litigation, wage and hour litigation, election law and fiduciary matters, such as entity dissolution proceedings, power of attorney abuse, and alleged breach of fiduciary duty. Mike also litigates complex civil rights and constitutional matters. Mike has had the unique opportunity and privilege to represent companies and individuals, employers and employees, and controlling minority shareholders or owners.

No matter the case, Mike's clients have come to comfortably rely upon Mike's innate ability to readily adapt to developments in real time.

In addition to his law practice, Mike lectures before the bar and publishes essays addressing some of the legal issues he encounters.
